Hello Guys!
It’s been awhile but I’m back with a new post! I’ve been pretty busy lately so I haven’t been able to check in but I hope all is well with you guys.
I spent the All-Star break back home in Seattle, hanging out with my family and making my brother look bad at the bowling alley. I caught up with a lot of relatives that I haven’t seen in awhile. I also had the chance to drop by my old stomping grounds, Franklin High School. I got to see the team play and I talked to the team during halftime. It was a lot of fun but now it’s back to work.
As you all know, we made a big trade with the Sacramento Kings right before the deadline. Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry, and Joey Dorsey left the
team in exchange for Kevin Martin, Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill and a first round pick.
It was really tough seeing Carl leave. He is one of my best friends and nobody saw the trade coming. We had all heard a lot of rumors as the deadline was approaching but none of them had included Carl so it was a huge surprise for everyone. I know it’s a business and you have to move on but it was just a shock seeing him go.
I had a lot of fun playing with Tracy while he was in Houston. As a point guard, it was great having him on the court because he can makes things happen and make my job a lot easier.
With that said, the front office saw a chance to improve and pounced on it.
Kevin is a very talented guy who has had a lot of success in Coach Adelman’s system. We’re still getting comfortable with each other on the court but once we develop some chemistry, our backcourt is going to be very good.
We started clicking in the second half against the Orlando Magic last week. We had another great game against the San Antonio Spurs so it’s just a matter of time before we’re doing that every night. We also added a great young player in Jordan Hill which makes our future even brighter.
As the season comes to a close, we’re going to keep playing hard and fighting for one of the playoff spots in the West. We want to thank all of you for the support, we really appreciate how passionate you guys are. Also, thanks for visiting the site and leaving your thoughts in the comment section.
You guys are the best and I’ll be back in the next few weeks with another update.
Thanks for the love,
Aaron

I also hated Carl leave the rockets but I was so happy that you weren’t involved in the trade, hopefully you won’t leave the rockets because you are the face of the franchise, even when yao comes back, you’ll be leading us to a championship. I’m also excited to see JT and Jordan Hill grow, i think they can both be future superstars.
admire your playmaking skills.. keep it up!

As hard as it was to lose Carl, you have to give something to get something. He gets a chance to start, and I can watch him on League Pass, so, hey, win-win.
